Appointments and availability
Keller IT Industries operates by appointment and is not a walk-in storefront. Selecting a scheduler time holds that slot while the request is reviewed. Do not travel to a location or drop off equipment until you receive a separate approval email with the confirmed date, time, and instructions.
Online hours describe when inquiries are normally reviewed, not guaranteed response times or walk-in hours. Remote, drop-off, and on-site availability depends on the work, location, schedule, and safety.
Diagnostics and authorization
A diagnostic assessment starts at $45 and is chargeable once performed unless a written estimate states that it will be credited or waived. We will explain findings and request authorization before material additional work where practical. Discovery of additional damage or scope may require a revised estimate.
Pricing
Published prices are starting prices. Device condition, complexity, parts, tax, travel, licenses, subscriptions, shipping, specialist services, and work outside the listed scope may increase the total. A website price is not a final quote for an unseen device or environment.
Payment and equipment release
Payment is due when service is completed and before equipment is released unless different terms were approved in writing. Accepted methods are cash, Zettle card or tap-to-pay, Cash App, and Zelle. Remote service is due upon completion through a Zettle invoice unless another method or written business-account term was approved in advance.
Electronic payment must appear as completed in Keller IT Industries’ actual account; a customer-provided screenshot is not proof of settlement. Equipment will not be released while payment is pending, disputed, or incomplete, subject to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
For a customer with written invoice terms approved before service, equipment may be released after the authorized work is completed and the invoice remains payable by its stated due date. Providing an invoice without approved payment terms does not by itself authorize release before payment.
90-day limited workmanship warranty
Eligible repair labor includes a 90-day limited workmanship warranty beginning on the completion or pickup date. This Keller IT Industries warranty covers eligible labor and workmanship only, not the manufacture of a replacement part. The customer must notify Keller IT Industries within 90 days and make the equipment reasonably available for inspection, ordinarily within 14 days after notice. If the same issue returned because of the workmanship performed, the primary remedy is reinspection and reperformance of the affected labor at no additional charge.
A separate applicable manufacturer warranty on an installed part remains subject to the manufacturer’s terms. The workmanship warranty does not cover a different fault, normal wear, malware or software changes after service, customer or third-party modification, customer-supplied parts unless accepted in writing, or evidence of physical, liquid, electrical, impact, environmental, or other damage occurring after service. Data recovery, liquid-damage work, microboard soldering, and other high-risk work may use separate written warranty terms disclosed before authorization. This limited workmanship warranty gives customers specific rights; other rights may apply and are not limited where they cannot lawfully be limited.
Drop-off, intake, and temporary custody
Drop-off is available only by approved appointment; Keller IT Industries is not a walk-in storefront. The final location and arrival instructions are provided with the appointment confirmation. Bring only the equipment and accessories identified in those instructions.
At intake, Keller IT Industries and the customer will identify each item being left for service. The signed intake record should list the device type, manufacturer and model, serial number, service tag or other device identifier when available, included accessories, and visible condition. The customer should retain a copy.
Signing the intake record places the listed equipment in Keller IT Industries’ temporary custody solely for the authorized diagnostic, service, reasonable storage, and return of the equipment. Ownership does not transfer because an item was dropped off, found unserviceable, repaired, unpaid, or not collected promptly. The customer represents that they own the equipment or are authorized by its owner to request service.
Intake does not authorize every repair or expense. The diagnostic fee and initial authorized scope apply as disclosed. Keller IT Industries will request approval before material additional repair, parts, or other charges where practical. If repair is declined or the equipment is determined to be unserviceable, completed diagnostics and other authorized charges remain due.
Customers should keep a backup when reasonably possible and disclose known damage, encryption, liquid exposure, infestation, battery swelling, or prior repair attempts. We may refuse unsafe, contaminated, unlawfully possessed, or inadequately documented equipment. Reasonable care will be used while equipment is in custody, but pre-existing failure, latent defects, and the risks described in the Terms of Service still apply.
Completion, collection, and customer property
Keller IT Industries will notify the customer using the contact information on file when equipment is completed, unserviceable, or otherwise ready for return. The customer is responsible for keeping that information current and arranging collection promptly. Equipment is released to the customer or an authorized designee after identity or receipt verification when appropriate and after payment has been completed, except under approved written invoice terms described above.
No storage charge, collection deadline, lien enforcement, sale, disposal, recycling, or other unclaimed-property remedy will apply unless it has been separately disclosed and authorized where required. Keller IT Industries will follow applicable Kentucky notice and legal procedures before exercising any such remedy. Customer equipment will not automatically become Keller IT Industries property after a stated number of days.
Data, credentials, and recovery
Do not place passwords or sensitive information in public forms or ordinary scheduling notes. If credentials are required, we will discuss an appropriate method. Transfers over 1 TB and complex recovery require a custom quote. Recovery is best-effort; no outcome or completeness is guaranteed.
Discounts
Active-duty military members, veterans, and students may receive 10% off eligible labor with qualifying proof. A package of four or more qualifying services may receive 20% off eligible labor when requested before authorization. Discounts do not stack; the single largest eligible discount applies. Discounts exclude parts, taxes, travel, licenses, subscriptions, shipping, recovery media, third-party services, and previously completed work.
Service-area and urgent requests
On-site service carries a $20 travel charge for locations up to 10 one-way route miles from Keller IT Industries’ service base. Distance beyond 10 miles is charged at $2.50 per additional one-way route mile, measured using the normal mapped route and rounded to the nearest whole mile. The travel charge applies once per scheduled visit, not once per device. A separately scheduled or customer-requested return visit may carry another disclosed travel charge.
Travel coverage and the charge will be quoted or confirmed before the appointment. Remote and customer drop-off service do not carry an on-site travel charge. A return visit required solely to correct work covered by the 90-day limited workmanship warranty does not carry a travel charge. Tolls, parking, unusually remote travel, or work outside the normal service area require advance approval.
Urgent-support availability is evaluated case by case and does not promise emergency, after-hours, or guaranteed response service. Contractual response commitments exist only in an approved written agreement.
